I found one of the best design in the Spinnetti's Printrbot Metal Simple Fan Shroud to adapt on E3D hotend and I found that it was better to have a cut to snap on it so as not disassembling the hotend. I've simply used MeshLab to cut a part and, even if Cura says me there is an error, the file works great. There is an improovment in the printing because you'll not need any support if you print it on the fan fitting. You will have to cut away with a Dremel a part to adapt to the Minimalist E3D holder so as to give the orientation desidered. In case you'll make in PLA it fits tight but if you'll print in PETG I suggest you to bend with a plier the bottom corners to tightner the fitting.
