Spinning Tassimo Holder

Spinning Tassimo Holder

Having recently purchased a Tassimo machine I wanted a variety of drinks but couldn't be doing with having all those boxes on my worktop....so I decided to create this. I kept the design very simple, and have designed it to be hung inside my cupboard above the mugs (as pictured) or free standing (might need some modification to the base unless you want to screw the base down to the worktop). https://youtu.be/n--zKZR-UBI Print Settings Printer: Hephestos (heavily modified) Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 300 microns for holders, 200 microns everything else. Infill: 50% for everything. Notes: I have included supports in the STL files. This enables the pod holders to print perfectly with ease, and you can simply 'snap' out the supports once printed. Post-Printing Supports included in STL files I've included the required supports in the STL files for the following... Small pod holder Large pod holder Spin holder ceiling slot These just snap off easily once printed. How I Designed This It's really simple, a bracket that fixes on to the underside of the shelf with a V slot that slots in to the bracket. A hex nut and M8 threaded rod form the main shaft of the unit for strength. Two 'spinning' discs which rest on M8 nuts (further down the threaded rod) for the pod holders to be screwed to (10-12mm M3 Hex Screw/Bolt). I designed spinning discs for a 4-6 and 8 pod holder system but couldn't find the files when I upload the previous ones (will update when I get the chance). I've included 2 different pod holder designs, one for the standard 'small' pods and another for the bigger pods (Milka/Cadbury - powder only pods). I was a little lazy and most of my dimensions were' guesstimated as it was meant to be a first draft, but it works really well so figured I'd publish it as it is. You simply print the quantity of pod holders you require, two of the corresponding spinning disc, get yourself some M8 threaded rod, a few nuts and 2 M3 screws for each of the pod holders; and you're done in a few minutes. If I get a chance I'll take some pictures and videos and upload them soon.
