Spirit Halloween proton pack Alice pack frame spacers

If you need a spacer for the ALICE pack frame to be offset from the proton pack, this one is 1" and fits the 2" 6-32 screws I used. I used 3 screws, two on the bottom and one nearer the top. I used old cut to length piano hinges inside the pack to support the mother board (painted plastic). I traced the pack onto the plastic and gave about 1/8" extra, the cardboard you remove does not give you the right dimensions. I cut out the plastic, then painted it black. I don't have a picture of the piano hinges, but the supply more strength if they are open at 90 degrees when you install them. If you look carefully, you'll see the screw that holds the hinge to the inside of the proton pack ( I left them long, and bent the ends down so I could screw them firmly to the pack itself.) You may notice I moved the shoulder stratus from he top bar to the middle bar. This brought the pack higher up on our backs and made the wand easier to grab.
