Split pin set
thingiverse
This contraption attaches two thin sheets via a hole in both. The two halves are printed flat on their sides, since printing upright would result in a significantly weaker structure. The current STL file requires a 4.5 mm hole, but the SCAD file allows you to resize it at will. The ring is optional if the sheets are strong enough. The pin isn't actually printed; it's simply a piece of filament that comes off the spool as is.
