Hello,\r\n\r\nSponge box featuring trendy voronoi style. Video provided by Layer by Layer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kh5jKgsEQak shows how to design a trending model. Base shape is modeled in Fusion 360, then voronoi pattern applied in Meshmixer. I wanted to learn creating this object after seeing many inspiring voronoi 3D models.\r\n\r\nFirst, base form created in Fusion 360 for voronoi pattern application. In Meshmixer, base deformed from square to triangular pattern on model's outside, creating interesting shapes with voronoi pattern and reducing mesh with small and bigger brushes.\r\n\r\nI enjoyed watching video thoroughly due to in-depth explained procedures of creating voronoi pattern. Well-founded videos stay longer in memory.\r\n\r\nTaking this project helped me learn design method. For instance, applying plane cut in models (keeping both shapes) was useful when using high-detailed bottom. I could apply voronoi pattern to upper part and leave lower part intact.\r\n\r\nDownside is it takes significantly longer to print these objects with FFF printing. However, it's a choice between fast prop or slow well-end product for me.\r\n\r\nI hope you enjoy video!\r\n\r\nGreetings!
