Spooky Cereal Box House

With the Halloween spirit in mind I decided to hauntify my cereal box townhouse. I did away with the stencils and brackets from the previous project. To attach, press the piece where you want it to make dents against the cardboard. Then, using a sharp knife, poke out a small x in that spot. It should stay in place. As an option you can cut away the cardboard around the windows to add depth. The door will print-in-place. Some of my have slightly fused the top and bottom to the door frame. So it needs a bit of working to open it and you might have some jagged edges to smooth. But once you gently work it open and closed a bit, it should swing fairly nicely. This project is one of many "untrashables" - a collaboration with my 9-year-old daughter. We take a piece of household trash and, using 3D printed pieces, come up with something fun and/or useful.
