Spool Holder - Boxzy

3D printing has revolutionized the manufacturing process, and can produce amazing results. Many things must come together to produce the perfect print. When the machine is running, filament must constantly flow to the extruder to create a seamless product. Spool holders can be purchased online, however, with a powerful tool like BoXZY, you are able to produce a filament holder yourself. The design consists of two mahogany pieces at either end of the spool for strength and durability. A wooden rod is laid in between the mahogany pieces to hold the weight of the filament. A printed cap is placed on either end of the wooden legs to secure the rod in place. This project was designed by Chris Ference for Boxzy CNC. Boxzy takes the power of three machines into one.
