Spool Holder for Gladiator Garage Shelving

These are spool holders which clip onto Gladiator garage shelving, specifically model GARS774XEG. See the video for how they attach. They are designed to pass through the shelf grid, and lock onto the sheetmetal rails and have enough clearance to accommodate the shelving manufacturer's variance in rail height. They are designed for 3D printing, and are strong and stable for the task of holding 1kg spools. Nominal 3/4 inch schedule 40 PVC pipe provides a good balance of slip and friction so that the spool rotates smoothly, but will not allow spools to unroll themselves. They will hold most manufacturer's 200mm spools and will also hold the 250mm Makerbot spools. The spool hub must be >27mm to fit the PVC pipe. The PVC cap diameter is ~34mm, but can be removed for narrower spools. Nominal 3/4 schedule 40 PVC will not fit spools with the tiny center hub, such as Dremel brand spools.
