This customized spool holder is specifically designed for the Prototype Supply brand filament available from Toybuilder Labs (http://www.toybuilderlabs.com). To use it with Replicator 2 models, select the "r2d" version. For Replicator 2 and Replicator 2x models, choose the "r2e" version. This spool holder was created by editing woale's Customizable Spool Holder for Replicator 2 (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:44906) to fit snugly into the slot on Replicator. To print this design, I recommend using a high fill percentage - at least 40%. If you're printing with thin layers, increase the solid layer thickness above the default of 3 layers to achieve a thickness of 1 mm or more. This print is quite large, so be prepared for shrink and warp issues. If possible, use PLA filament for improved results. To enhance the spool holder's strength, slightly under-report the filament diameter during slicing or employ other techniques to trick the slicer into extruding thicker plastic. Consider printing with a higher temperature but slower speed than usual. Results may vary. After your print is complete, remove the small bridge-helper tabs.
