Spool Holder for Rubbermaid 21 cup Cereal Box (WIP) - with STP file

This is being left in a work in progress state, however I feel that the files here should be good to go - see the update below. This is a spool holder for a Rubbermaid 21 cup cereal box. There are a ton of these here and so this is a bit redundant, but I wanted to have a place to store some silica gel and some method of keeping narrow spools corralled. There is a small vertical roller which is intended to help keep spools from moving side to side, which moves in a slot to adjust for the width of a spool. I added a rubber band on the side roller which helps with small spools, but is problematic with regular 1Kg spools since it is difficult to install the spool with the rubber band in place. For that reason I would recommend either removing the rubber band or the slider entirely if using regular spools. I may come back to this design later and make something more universal, but for now it works for me and I don't have a reason to keep testing since I have made holders for all the Rubbermaid containers I own (2 right now) and I am pretty happy with the way they work. The STEP file for the latest version is included, to make remixing easier, so feel free to post remixes and makes. This can hold a spool about 65mm wide (actually just a shade under, but all my spools are thinner than that anyway). I took some inspiration, and a couple measurements from the following thing which helped design the pins that hold the bearings on: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3033132 To design this, I made a template which fit the base of a 21 cup Rubbermaid cereal box similar to the one in the link below. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00XJRMW5M/ This will require 5 608 (skate) bearings, as well as 4xM3 inserts and some M3x20mm screws (5). There are 4x M4x8mm screws and 4x M4 nuts needed as well, to mount the baskets. Finally some glue is optional for attaching the cap on the small roller (or it can just be pressed on which is what I did). To assemble the doors on the baskets, the M3x20mm screws are used as the hinge, and the M3 inserts are used to hold those screws. To install the screws, insert them in the base of the basket, then start the inserts on them, then put the door on and fully tighten down the screws which will then form the hinge for the door. I also posted a filament pass through with a screw cover for the same filament dry box setup - also WIP: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3733460 The STP file is included for easy remixing (I will update this with the final design when I take it out of work in progress). <strong>Updates:</strong> 8/23/2019 (<strong>FINAL</strong>) This is the last update for now. I am done with tweaking this for now and am pretty happy with it overall. The files here are the latest and though they have different versions, the will work together. I have not printed all the revisions but the changes which forced them were based on prints. Since I have not printed the parts fully, I will leave this as a Work In Pogress, but the truth is, I do not intend to make changes to it in the near future, and any work will need to wait until I buy some more Rubbermaid containers which I do not plan to do right now. I feel that these files should work better than the ones I did print (which they are revisions of). If you make one of these, please post in the comments your impression and if there were any problems (and I will try to fix the models if that is the case). I feel that the models here should be good to go however. Update 10/29/2019: I have found that the sliding guide is best left without the rubber band, and I sometimes remove it if using a 2Kg spool since it makes loading quicker. They still work well enough, though I did break one of the pins on the rollers recently.
