Spool Holder Shelf Bracket Adapter
thingiverse
I keep 3D printers out of the way with wall mounted shelves above them. Stifled by accessing the Makerbot spool, I improvised using an old piece of 1" PVC conduit to create an axle where spools of filament sit securely. I designed these so they are printed in a dense form that holds enough weight for spool stacks. 6 bolts will need printing along with end stops at each end and clamps to secure them in place or you can print one complete set all at once. I would like to credit the bolt and threaded socket designer who created this part but since the STL files were sitting around for a long time I'm not sure where they came from. If anyone knows give me a shout so proper attribution can be given. Print Settings: Rafts: No matter what is chosen Supports: They don't impact my design Infill: Printed in a fairly dense manner to support heavy weight loads Notes: No rafts or supports needed during printing on the Lulzbot TAZ4.
