This mount and accessories are designed to fit snugly on a spool shelf crafted from 1x3 wood stock. The mount glides smoothly onto the shelf with the tension screw facing upwards, ensuring that it doesn't interfere with objects stored below. Once in place, the screw is tightened firmly to secure the bottom of the mount tightly against the wooden shelf. The spool holder then inserts effortlessly into the mount and slides down to lock securely into position. If you plan to use the spool holder on the top shelf, additional Mounts and Optional Filament Guides can be printed to manage the filament as it flows towards the printer. The Spool Holder showcased in the photo is a shortened version for demonstration purposes only; the full Spool Holder STL file is included.
