<p>This is a filament spool spindle designed to reduce the torque necessary to unspool filament while printing (on a Prusa i3 with 7mm threaded rod spool holder, or any other similar printer) -- give it a shot if you're having under-extrusion issues.</p> <p>The dimensions were based on Hatchbox spools, but you can easily scale to other dimensions.</p> <p>As designed, I printed two short pieces for each side of the filament spool.
