Spoon holder for Bonne Maman jars

The classic jam jars from Bonne Maman are some of the best reusable screw top glasses. Among other things, I was using one as my sugar pot for years. I wanted to keep a spoon with it, but instead of a lid with a cutout for the spoon, I decided to retain the origial screw top and have a moisture (and insect) proof seal. So my design just adds a place to hold the sugar spoon at the side of the glass jar. Of course, it can also hold a spoon for your jam or anything else that fits in there. The ring slips on from below. Getting it all the way up to the rim does require some force, as it is a tight fit. But once there, it sits very securely. This was in part inspired by the "Second Life Mug" by Le FabShop.
