Sport Cub Wing Bracket Jig

Sport Cub Wing Bracket Jig

thingiverse

This is a jig to assist in repairing the wing cover bracket of a ParkZone Sport Cub radio control airplane. It holds the posts in perfect alignment so you can press or clamp until the glue dries. I used 5 minute epoxy forced into the cracks with a T-pin. Before printing, verify that hole centers form a rectangle 49.5 x 164 mm. Print 2 jigs and connect with 5 mm diameter chopstick stock cut to 174 mm length. You could use my chopstick cutting jig and a razor saw to make precise cuts. You can glue in the chopsticks, but that's not necessary. The jig takes up less space in storage when disassembled. Applies to these planes: ParkZone Sport Cub 1.3M (discontinued) HobbyZone Carbon Cub S+ 1.3M
