This is designed to all the use of a Sporty's A300 Hand held Radio with a wall power supply. It is used in place of the slide on battery pack in conjunction with a wall wort dc power supply. The base is attached to the radio in the same slide on method of attaching the radio to the standard battery. The contacts of the base are simply screws that hold down the solder lugs for the power supply wires.
