Drawing inspiration from some other Spray Can Mixers using drill attachments, including a video review by Adam Savage of a commercially available metal unit, I chose to draw this up in Freecad and try it out for myself. I printed the main body in Black PETG. The walls of the main holder are 4mm thick and were printed with a 0.2mm nozzle with a wall/top/bottom count of 10, to make it as strong as I could. I had a mind to get a big enough Hose Clamp in case this was still not strong enough - but so far it has proven very robust. The bolt is m10 x 100mm, with a Nyloc nut and 2 x 30mm steel washers. m10 is an easy fit into my keyless drill chucks. The hole in the centre is right on 10mm, so it's a tight fit to get the bolt in. The insert was printed in Red TPU, and is only 1mm thick. It grasps the paint can a bit too tight for my liking but it still works. This then slips into the holder and keeps the can relatively centred. if I have a need to mix smaller cans all I need to is make up a different insert. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E0YLKurxrhA
