This is a spreader bar for the Gideon Retractable Tension Clothesline. It keeps the 4 lines from bunching up when I am drying a towel or something on my apartment balcony. The bar also fits in the storage area in the housing. The lines are about 1.5mm in diameter, and spaced 60mm apart.
