Spring Clamp for GoPro

Spring Clamp for GoPro

thingiverse

Clamp your GoPro where you like! On a shelf, guitar head stock, on your girlfriend's rear view mirror, where ever it will fit! Hardware could be purchased or scavenged from a Harbor Freight spring clamp ( item#69291) or maybe even a spring clamp you have laying around the house. Print one of each handle to create one as I have pictured, or print 2 of the handle with the mounting points to create one with 4 mounting points, or if you just want a spring clamp (and who doesn't!) print 2 of the plain handles! Print it, put it together, clamp it one to something awesome and share you photos! There are a couple other improvements I am planning and will add the files as I do so. Update!!!! GoProClamp_A_Mk3, GoProClamp_B_Mk3, and SpringClampShoeMk4 are the newest versions, build the same as the previous model, but the new Shoe will only work with the new clamp. Updated the nubs on the clamp nose to be larger and less apt to break. You will still need to file the nubs down on an angle as the previous model. Print Settings Printer: Turnigy Fabrikator 3D Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .2mm layers Infill: 50% Notes: Printed in maker geeks PLA @ 230c, 60c bed. For ABS, I needed to print on a raft, 110c bed. Post-Printing Remove all of the supports, ream the holes so a 5mm screw goes through. shold only need a tiny bit if any, your printer may vary. On the nose of the clamps, file the nubs short and at a 45 degree angle before snapping the shoes on. Take apart the Harbor Freight clamp and assemble your new clamp! Be awesome!
