Spring Latch Keychain

<p>This remix of the <a href="https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/146100-spring-latch">Spring Latch</a> mechanism adds a keychain hook.</p><p>The bottom of the print is flat so it can easily be customized with inset text to label your keychains.</p><figure class="media"><oembed url="https://youtu.be/zcmIZw9kiwk"></oembed></figure><p><a href="https://youtu.be/zcmIZw9kiwk">https://youtu.be/zcmIZw9kiwk</a></p><p> </p><h3>Customization</h3><p>Choose between the loose spring or the stiff spring depending on how strong you want the latch hold to be.</p><p>If you want more distance between the wall and the latch, use the “Tall Post” versions of the springs.</p><p>.step files have been included so you can easily customize with your own text labels.</p><p> </p><h3>Printing</h3><p>No supports required.</p><p>Print the spring with enough perimeters (shells) so that the arms of the spring are solid.</p><p>If you customize with inset text, switch your filament out mid-print to get the text to really pop! </p><p> </p><h3>Assembly</h3><p>Use a small short screw to attach the spring to your wall.
