This is a spring-loaded servo actuated pen/pencil lifting device for CNC plotters. Let me know if it is helpful for you. It is sized for 3mm smooth rods, 2 springs from click-type pens. The hole in the pen holder is sized for a 5mm threaded insert. The overall action of the seems good and uses almost the range of the springs. It is still in development and has not been thoroughly tested. Edit1: Changed the base so the CAM could rotate fully. It is somewhat tested at this point - seems to work well.
