This is a remix of Ruger LCP Sneaky pete insert for spare magazine by sunsetvette, September 03, 2019 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3844242/files When I saw the original post I was struck by what a great idea it was to create a storage space for a spare magazine within the holster. My Sneaky Pete holster is a bit the worse from long usage. It's the nylon variety, not leather as in the OP's case. The plastic insert has been crushed and broken and though the holster itself was still serviceable, it needed some TLC. This was an opportunity to provide that and add storage for the second mag - win/win. I modified the OP's design in Tinkercad to fit my holster and firearm. This model fits the 45 ACP version of the Springfield SDX; there's also a 9 mm version but I don't know if this model will work for that firearm. I found it necessary to eliminate the long, vertical tails of the original insert and instead salvaged those parts from the broken original. The two salvaged pieces hook to the top corners of the holster pocket and lay flat against the inside of the outer edges. The new printed part slides all the way to the bottom. I printed this in PETG with a 1.2 mm shell and 24% infill to make it more resistant to crushing than PLA might be. ABS might be a good choice too. The part prints without supports when oriented with the magazine well vertical.
