Allted's springy pen holder for the Mostly Printed CNC is a paragon of simplicity. However, I found the idea of having to cut zip ties to switch pens on my MPCNC unappealing. Therefore, I replaced the pen side with straps using M3 screws and nuts. The nut traps may cause some printing issues, but tightening up the screws will pull the nuts into place. You can customize the maximum pen diameter (default: 18mm), allowing for a range of sizes to be accommodated. With long M3 screws, you can achieve extremely thin pens. There are two versions available: one features shorter bridging capabilities but more 45-degree overhangs.
