Sprouter Tray
thingiverse
I've had a highly effective automated sprouter for ten years now, but I recently decided to design and print my own simple trays from PLA in order to optimize the space inside the sprouter. To keep it stable on the chamber's floor, I use stainless steel machine screws with 2mmx20mm dimensions as legs that elevate it at least a centimeter off the ground. Additionally, I place a scotch-brite pad in the lowest drainage slot to prevent roots from clogging it up. If you're interested in building your own automated sprouter like the one featured in my YouTube video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OY2Ezu5GYMo, this information might be relevant to you. This custom tray fits perfectly into half of my existing container, so its dimensions are 176mm long by 126mm wide with walls and a floor that are 3mm thick.
