Sprung Loaded Label holder

Sprung Loaded Label holder

This part was an experiment to see how well plastic could be printed, of interest are the two springs which are placed such that they grip the Dog-Tag type label after it is slid into the holder. I wanted to see how strong they were and how small they could be made. The original part used domed chrome screws and did not have counter sunk screw holes which I will remove as the width of the arms needs to be made wider to accommodate the counter sink hole. Also, the requirement was for them to be in Black PLA and not Yellow. Instructions This was printed in Yellow PLA on bare glass, using a RepRapPro Ormerod, pronterface/Slic3r, no support material, 57C bed, 200C Hot End.
