Due to the way it is builded it also requires smaller tolerances and therefore is less wiggler than other similar extruders. Assembly ========= Hardware Required: ------------------------------ - 1 L of premium polish or otherwise Slavic in origin vodka (can be substituted with kompot for those on alcohol free diet and under legal drinking age in your country, recipe below) - Some slavic filament, best would be ABS or PETG for its heat resistance - Bolts and nutz, 4x M3 20mm bolts, 1 M4 nut, M4 bolt 8mm long with low head profile - PTFE tube coupling PC4M6 with short piece of PTFE tube for other side. - 2mm drill bit, hex wrench, screwdriver or other tool (might not be needed) - 11mm extruder gear, 13mm extruder puley/bearing (4mm height, 4mm bore), nema17 motor, all of those you have already in original extruders from printers like Ender 3, other Creality brand printers or Tronxy printers and lots of others. - Some glue if you want to print and use [Slavic Knob](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3450300) as well. Assembly itself ------------------- - Prepare yourself a beverage of your choice for assistance in hard times and refreshment. - Print all pieces with high infill and lots of walls using genuine Slavic filament for full Slav experience. - Use 2mm diameter tool to clear out filament path in a piston, just jam it to the hole like some neanderthal to make sure filament goes trough, might not be needed. - Clear out a support material in hex nut slot, insert M4 nut into a hex socket and bolt down pulley on the other side. - Force PTFE tube onto smaller 4mm opening on the left, thread a opening on the right and then screw it PC4M6 coupling, threading can be done with PTFE coupling itself. - Insert piston to a base. If you have tight fit you might want to do some cleanup on piston on base, best results are when it slides well inside but there is little to no rattling of whole contraption. - Insert a spring. Should be easy as fully retracted there is more space for spring than needed. - Carefully squeeze that piston fully, then put 1.75mm filament piece in hole on the side to lock piston retracted. - Screw whole thing together with a NEMA17 motor with extruder gear on its spindle already, base on top ("upsidedown" compared to [Slav-Struder](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3437372) ) and flat plate on bottom, use M3 Bolts. - When tightening whole thing down make sure to not over tighten them, make sure piston is moving smoothly in the contraption. - Optionally you can print and glue together, or use 3d pen to attach one to another, a Slav Extruder Knobr knob with Squatting Gopnik. - Drink vodka or kompot for success. ----------------------------------------------------- Kompot Recipe =============== For those that are alcoholicly disadvantaged: --------------------------------------------------------- You will need: - A cup of sugar - 3 liters of water, preferably from nearby well. - any amount of fruits, and berries (between 0.5 kg to 1.5 kg) such as cherry, strawberry, apple, pear, raspberries, or any other similar ones. I recommend strawberry with some apple. Preparations: - Wash your fruits, berries can be frozen but better to be fresh. - Put everything in the pot - Boil for an hour - Taste and add sugar to taste if needed - Enjoy cold or hot or you can even pour it on a thin noodles for full on Super Slavic Summer Soup, SSSS can be served cold or hot as well. For premium experience you can add some cinnamon of vanilin sugar (don't use vanilla sugar, no true Slav have money for that). In festive winter time its also recommend to use dried fruits instead of fresh for full on Dried Fruit Slavic Christmass Kompot experience.
