For a class project, my 10-foot long, meticulously detailed squid model was complete.\nWhen working in Maya, pressing F on any object caused the camera's position and center of interest to become undefined and nonsensical. I was baffled by this issue, and so was my instructor - it seemed like an inexplicable anomaly, a mysterious bug.
