SSD to HDD adapter

Designed a new SSD bracket from scratch.

Tried to make a snap in design, minimize filament usage, and keep port/hole positioning as close to OEM as possible.

The SATA ports themselves will be 3-4mm farther inward than OEM making it incompatible with slide in docks/mounts, but it's unavoidable without sacrificing exterior screw holes. Exterior screw holes are threaded even though most filament printers will barely notice. Screws holes are still on the underside in case you use this with a laptop HDD.

Edit: Removed the earlier versions since I was running in to weak spots and random breaking.

Updated version uses a hexagonal pattern with a 3mm border to more evenly distribute flexing while minimizing material usage. It has same previous holes and I added the underside screw holes to match an HDD.

Print Settings

Printer:

CR10S PRO

Supports:

No
