RENDERING STEP / IGES

SIMPLE - COST EFFECTIVE DESIGN SOLUTION!
MINOR CHANGES TO INITIAL DESIGN, NO COMPLICATED PARTS THAT ADD TO COST (MATERIALS, MACHINING, LABOR, etc)

THIS IS MY IDEA FOR THE STABILIZER LEG:

- MOUNTING BRACKET INCREASED IN HEIGHT
- LOWER PIVOT POINT OF SHOCK ABSORBER AT OPEN POSITION KEPT THE SAME
- LENGTH OF THE ABSORBER 5-3/4'' EYE TO EYE

MAXIMUM FORCE ACTING ON SHOCK ABSORBER ~1600 lbf @ 40 DEGREES

FOUND A SHOCK THAT CAN HANDLE THE FORCES:
PRELOADED WITH A SPRING RATE OF 450-2500 LB/IN FROM KS. SLIGHTLY MORE EXPENSIVE BUT THE DESIGN OF THE LEG IS KEPT SIMPLE AND RELIABLE. LOCKING BRACKET CAN HAVE MORE SLOTS FOR DIFFERENT ANGLES.
