thingiverse
This is a stackable 1" effect square suitable for tabletop games like Dungeons and Dragons or Pathfinder. By placing copies of the printed object around a miniature, you can keep track of multiple effects like poison and entanglement without slowing down the game.
The squares are designed to stack loosely on top of each other, allowing room for printer error and a few layers of paint. They shouldn't snap together - that will put too much pressure on the inner walls, especially when using PLA.
Instructions
This object was modelled in Sketchup and converted to a stereo-lithography file using a plugin, so the geometry is not perfect. It slices successfully in Slic3r and has been printed several times using the Printrbot LC printer in natural PLA.
Be careful not to stress the inner ridges, as they are fairly fragile.
