This stackable organizer safeguards optical fibers from accidental damage and excessive bending, making it scalable for large fiber arrays. The base piece features a mounting point for an M6 caphead screw onto an optical table. Add as many middle pieces as required to accommodate all your fibers, then top with the lid piece. Ensure the inner channel diameter is 10 cm to prevent fibers from bending below a 5 cm radius. Each piece holds approximately three 0.9 mm diameter fibers of 3 m length before becoming cramped. Mount the base on your optical table and arrange fibers in middle pieces before adding more or the lid. Printing with multiple perimeters (we used 5) benefits thin walls, while printing onto fresh blue painter's tape ensures flat bases for larger pieces.
