Another party, another fridge full of beer bottles, me annoyed again at not being able to pull any bottle from the bottom of the stack without lots of noise and pinching my fingers. So this is my solution. If you look at some of my other designs, yes I like hex patterns. They stack well, are very stiff, and are easy to print with constant shell thickness. I took out material from the sides as it's not really needed. Also, the holes in the sides are used to connect the parts you print together, using the "connector". It should snap in, but you can also glue these together if you want. The connector uses up 0.8 mm of space on one side. For the bottom row, you need to print 2x the STL with 3 hexagons (the light blue one in the picture). Second row, one with 3 and one with 2 (green colour in the picture). Also print 4 connectors. That setup fits 11 bottles, with the option of stacking another 4 on top, bringing the total to 15 which is more than half a case of beer. Or you add another 2x3 row, giving you 17 bottle capacity (plus five on top = 23 bottles, almost a full case of beer) I measured some beer bottles I had on hand, and this design should fit most modern "slim and tall" bottles. It also works for 0.5 liter Weissbier with a little room to spare. Any bottle up to 68 mm diameter will fit (the inside design diameter is 69 mm). Fridges are cold (duh). Therefore I recommend printing this in PETG. PLA might be too brittle at low temps. See second picture for print orientation.
