After searching high and low for something low profile to keep my drives safe both at home and during travels, I was unable to find anything that suited my needs. Not wishing to use the oversized boxes or unstandardized slippery plastic clamshells they normally come in, I designed this stackable holder instead.

These trays hold a standard M.2 2280 SSD snugly and include a cutout for easy removal. They may also be used for shorter SSDs such as 2230, 2242, and 2260 drives, though I recommend filling the empty space, such as with esd safe foam or cardboard. Fits both single and double sided PCBs.

Out of the box tolerances are loose to allow my 5 year old MPSMv2 to handle the print:

Holes - 0.2mm

SSD - 0.4mm

Printed just as well on a Sidewinder X1 with tighter tolerances.

.step files are included for you to tweak as necessary. Happy printing!
