Download:1x Stack, Either 2- or 3-Box2x/3x normal sized Containers or equivalent. Depending on the Stack(1 Box = 2 half-Boxes)1x Lid of your ChoicePrinting:All the parts fit on the Prusa MINI/+ for printing.Beware: The handle uses a 0.25mm tolerance. To safe you a lot of material and time I recement printing a tolerance test first.I also included a test-file with a part of the stack and the handle in the print files.Nozzle: 0.4mmLayer height: 0.2mmPerimeters: 2-3Infill: 10-20%, GridMaterial: PLASupports: none!Seam: randomize / Mark/paint overhangs on the handle as keep-out-zonesAbout the DesignThis Stackbox is designed to hold multiple boxes securely together. The boxes are big enough to store replacement hotends and should have enough space to accommodate all kinds of spare parts an some of the tools that come with your 3D-printer.Some versions also have sorting-compartments. It might also be used as a Lunchbox, but careful with your choice of material though. I don't want you to get any health issues. The Boxes are designed in such a way that small parts like M2 washers won't fit through the gaps between the boxes, the lid or the individual compartments, even if you hold it upside down and shake it.There is also a bevel at the bottom of the sorting-compartments to make thin parts like washers more accessible without them getting stuck in some corners. One 2-Box-Stack can fit beneath the buildplate of a VORON 0.1 for easy and space efficient transport.Opening and ClosingThe Stack can only be opened once you put the print-in-place handle in it's locked position, as seen in the pictureTo close the mechanism and secure the Boxes you simply need to put the handle slightly out of its locked positionNote:If you have trouble sliding the boxes in and out, just try a little bit of silicone oil. It works wonders! The boxes can also be carried around with the handle. Your boxes will still be sealed and secured.StackingMeanwhile the Stacks can only be stacked when the handle is facing in the opposite direction, so the Boxes are securely shut. Even if the stacks tip over it is unlikely that the boxes will open.ConfigurationsThe boxes can be Stacked arbitrarily in any order.Features in the making:waiting for suggestions ;-)Change Log:16.08.22 2:40 UTCFixed printability issue in the hinge pass-through16.08.22 10:50 UTCminor mesh fixesStacks are now Stackable!16.08.22 14:40 UTCminor mesh fixes3 different Boxes with different sized compartments16.08.22 20:50 UTC3-Box Stack now available16.08.22 21:30 UTChalf-height Boxes are now available18.08.22 14:30 UTCFixed tolerance issuesadded lids with different designs as STL and Gcode22.08.22 11:25 UTCUpdated lids for less material use and faster printing
