Stacked 4 AA Battery Holder

Stacked 4 AA Battery Holder

This is inspired by mrbenbritton's design for a AA battery holder. A remix in the sense I've used their design idea for how the jumper wires attach, but I designed it from scratch in FreeCAD. I wanted a 4 battery stack design to keep the holder compact vs a linear design. I also designed it to have .8mm walls to make it print better with a .4mm nozzle. It takes about 1 hr 20 min to print with .15 layers... no need to specify infill since the walls are so thin. no brim, raft or supports needed. I designed it to fit Eneloop Pro AA batteries, which seem a little fatter than a standard AA battery. Also the length is designed for you to use 22 guage single strand wire for the jumpers. If the fit is not good enough with your batteries, you can try lighter or heavier wire. To wire it up for batteries in series... look at the photos... the back side of the bays are wired connected top to bottom. The front side has the top two batteries wired side to side.. and the output terminals are on the bottom two.
