Note: Any tips will go straight to our charity "TReND in Africa" (www.trendinafrica.org) which is dedicated to fostering university level science education on the African continent! Like my previous manual design (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:203734), but now with an option to attach a motor. ///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// OUR SCIENCE IN AFRICA NGO: http://trendinafrica.org/ A registered charity run by volunteer scientists on 4 continents Help us design good, cheap lab equipment for African scientists!http://trendinafrica.org/activities/open-source/open-source-main/ Join us! Thank you! ///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// I haven't calibrated theb piece to fit any particular motor model, these things are best adjusted in the source code - OpenSCAD. There are a bunch of variables called "motormount..." - adjust these to watever dimensions your motor has. Note: I designed the piece so that in one can take 2 and build an XY table - for this I would suggest to conect the 2 "stage" pieces with M4 Hex boats + screws such that one of the 2 axese is upside down (see picture). Instructions http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:203734 for the axis itself the Motor-mount is not calibrated to anything in particular - you will need to open the OpenSCAD file and adjust - there are variables in the top "motormount..." - all units in millimeters
