The need ======= You have a STAGG music stand, but your music is larger than a standard A4 / Letter page. The idea ======= Make the stand larger. This design extends the stand in both height and width for the sheet music. It doesn't extend the shelf on which the music stands (eg for holding more pieces at the same time). Those already exist elsewhere. The design ========= The full shelf comprisessix pieces: - Top Left - Left edge - Top Right - Right edge - Top Plate (print it twice) The largest piece you'll have to print is 180x180x17, which should fit on most printers. When attaching to the stand, the obvious place to start is the corners: Simply select the appropriate corner and line the lugs on the back with the holes in the stand. You can then use these as a reference to find the right holes to line up the other plates. The holes don't serve much purpose. They're really just there to save weight/material. That said, I do find it quite a convenient place to put my batons. To Do ===== My plan is to make some adjustments: 1. Reduce the length of the lugs so that it sits a little more snugly 2. Modify the side piece design because they're not quite identical, meaning you have to get the right piece in the right side.
