<p>The <a href="https://www.amazon.com/Hudson-Hi-Fi-Archival-Quality-Anti-Static/dp/B07FFCGVCS">Hudson Hi-Fi anti-static brush/tone arm</a> gently brushes along the vinyl record to ground away static electricity, as well as removing dust. The tone arm is designed to sit on the deck/plinth of typical turntable design. As the <a href="https://www.stereophile.com/content/schiit-audio-sol-turntable">Schiit Sol turntable</a> doesn't incorporate the typical deck/plinth, the anti-static tone arm can't reach the height of the platter. The stand is partially hollow. I filled this cavity with clay for weight and vibration dampening. The bottom plate snaps into the stand to for a wider footprint and to enclose/access the cavity.</p>
