Stand to Death

Made this using "3DF Zephyr". 3DF Zephyr Free is the free photogrammetry software from 3Dflow which allows the use of up to 50 photos to create small models. I tried it out using a sculpture I own and this is the result using the default settings. The original statue "Stand to Death" is part of the memorial complex on the Mamayev Kurgan (Mamayev Hill) in Volgograd, Russia. When creating the printcode I moved the obj down by 3 mm to remove the rather messy base. Didn't print the whole thing on full scale yet as I'm still experimenting with getting the face a bit sharper. The picture was a quick print to see what it looks like. Might get back to this if there is some interest.
