To bridge this gap, I've crafted a series of trays - some designed to hold tools, others reserved for storing electric cords - all aimed at closing the distance between the workbench and the wall. Each tray boasts an identical footprint, allowing me to reconfigure them as needed. Three screws securely fasten each tray in place, with a uniform screw pattern ensuring seamless interchangeability. These trays are not only effective gap-fillers but also versatile tool organizers that can be placed anywhere, free-standing or in tandem with my workbench.
