Standing String Art - Peeps Bunny Rabbit

<p>Instead of using a wood backing and nails, this String Art project uses a 3D Printed frame. &nbsp;There are two layers of holes so you can add extra depth to your design. &nbsp;I used a Size 24 tapestry needle with about 8 meters of embroidery floss (one whole unit). &nbsp;That size needle fits great in the holes, but you do have to angle you needle when working with the ears (See photo).&nbsp;</p><p>For finishing, I used three 5mm pompom balls (from the craft store) for facial features. &nbsp;I also opted to dab glue on my knots to better secure and conceal them.</p><p>Behind the scenes of the design considerations, the modeling process, and the stitching can be found in this video:</p><figure class="media"><oembed url="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7cnIO0ghiOM"></oembed></figure>
