Stanley Cup Holder and Lid

The Esso brand is synonymous with hockey in Canada so what better way to hold your 250ml can then a stanley cup holder and trophy lid.  I wanted to " fuel innovation "  so I first started by doing some research on what innovation is so that my concept could embody it: in·no·va·tionnounthe action or process of innovating.synonyms: change, alteration, revolution, upheaval, transformation, metamorphosis, breakthrough I also wanted to bring in Esso's rich history and brand into the concept so I started to research Esso's brand and how it started.  This lead me to this page: https://www.esso.ca/en/esso-history I was suprised to find out how much history Esso and hockey had so I decided to focus my design on this area.  This is how I ended up designing a way to transform a typical can into one of the most well know trophys of hockey.  not to mention In 1936, Esso sponsored the first national radio broadcast of an NHL game. Stanley Cup Trophy IP : public domain / parody I also wanted to include many types of technologys / innovations so I decided used a FDM 3d printer for the base and a SLA printer for cup, although each can be printed on either.
