UPDATE: Feb 27th 2022 Added a photo of the RAFT that I printed. Still needs filling, sanding, painting, etc. But it does give a good indication of what to expect from an FDM printer. I'm sure a good SLA would print this thing nicely. UPDATE: Feb 10th 2022 After printing all the parts, I have to inform you that much like the Talon I did, this model has a lot of small parts that can break easily. I've had to glue many features back on after handling the model. I even have made some parts from loose filament. This model is for those that have patience, a steady hand, and the ability to makeshift some parts that inevitably will break easily. UPDATE: Feb 9th 2022 After printing this myself I made changes to the front body for thin wing sections and the cargo crane thing. Beefed up both for better printing. NOTE: Updated Jan 2nd; Remove front body airlock door that had missing texture. Added separate airlock door that can be printed and glued on. I took the Argo Raft model and repaired the missing textures, floating mesh faces and overall broken areas. Then I disassembled the model into easy to print sections. Altered those model sections to print better by filling in any floating and thing areas. I included some images that might help to assemble the model. The landing gear, vtol, cargo box clamps and crane are all separate print models so you can assemble with the gear up/down, the VTOL up/down, and position the crane and cargo boxes as you see fit. I also included some alternate cargo boxes if you like. I've not printed all the parts yet myself, still going as I write this. So if you find an issue please let me know. The Raft has mounts for size one nose guns, So I added some gun models (guns_1-4) in case you want. They are different guns from other models so they will need to be sized appropriately. Enjoy. :)
