I'm just starting to experiment with scripting in blender, and it's awesome :) The attached .py file will let you make blraids of any number of strands, and there are a ton of parameters you can fiddle with. For more, I've got a github repo of my blender scripts. Next I'll try making a braided bracelet or ring. Instructions Download the attached .py file (Install and) open blender 2.6 Open the text editor press alt o or click the menu Text > Open text block select the .py file you just download hit Run Script (or alt p) Play around with the parameters, and see what happens! If you have questions or suggestions, feel free to get in touch via the github issues.
