This is a star game piece created for a student project I am working on involving board games. Standards NGSS Overview and Background Educational Game Project This project was created to allow students to "Make Learning Fun Again!" This is done by creating board games to play during inside recess that are educational and fun. Lesson Plan and Activity Require students to create a game Students use cardboard boxes to make a board, colored pencils and markers to create the spaces and design, and 3d printed objects of their choice for the game pieces, dice, or spinners. The students create the question bank, rules, and instructions and print them. Students design the game board and build it. The teacher 3d prints the requested items for the games based on students view of available items that match their ideas. Otherwise the teacher may create things not available from other designs such as this star piece.
