This is a star generator designed with Fusion 360. I uploaded a 5-spike star as a sample (Those dxf files) which was designed for materials with 3.5 mm thickness. Still, feel free to download the f3d file and tweak it to fit your need. <strong>Tweaking Tips</strong> Most adjustable features were set as "User Parameters", which you can find from "MODIFY > Change Parameters". Functions of each Parameter were described in "Comments". <strong>Making Tips</strong> <ul> <li>Export the last 4 Sketchs which has "ForCutting" in its name as DXF files. These are all you need for making a star.</li> <li>Quantities of parts needed are based on the number of Spikes: <ul> <li>Template: 4 * # of Spikes</li> <li>Each Holder: 2 * # of Spikes</li> </ul> </li> <li>If your material has an upper-side and a lower-side, flip half of the templates can keep all the outer-side the same sides.</li> </ul> <strong>Assembly Tips</strong> <ol> <li>Assembly could be tricky, especially the last piece. If "CuttingOffset" was set too high, the fitting will be so tight that the last piece might not be able to fit in.</li> <li>It helps a lot using some fast-curing glue (eg. CA glue) to fix what you had already put together along your assembly.</li> <li>PC_Holder and PB_Holder might looks similar, better keep an eye on who is who.</li> <li>For most occasions, the template might looks like an isosceles triangle. It's a good idea to make sure the first piece is well-oriented before glue it up.</li> </ol> <strong>Other Tips</strong> <ul> <li>The default design dig 1 slot for holder on each edge of the template. But as the star become bigger, 1 slot won't be enough for securing the connection. Thus, the f3d file with "2 Slots per Edge" is provided as well. However, as you might already noticed, this will double the holders and the difficulty of assembly. </li> </ul> <hr /> 這是一個用Fusion 360設計的雷切星星產生器。我附上了一個五芒星作為例子(那些dxf檔案,得用3.5mm厚的材料),但你可以直接下載f3d檔案來做修改,做出你希望的星星。 <strong>修改 Tips</strong> 大部分可調整的地方都設計成了「User Parameters」,你可以從「MODIFY > Change Parameters」找到設定頁面。每一個參數的功能都說明在「Comments」欄位中了。 <strong>製作 Tips</strong> <ul> <li>匯出名稱後頭有「ForCutting」的最後那4個草圖,這就是你所需要的DXF檔案。</li> <li>所需的零件數量是根據星芒的數量變動的: <ul> <li>模板:4 * 星芒數量</li> <li>每一個固定扣:2 * 星芒數量</li> </ul> </li> <li>如果你的材料有分正面和反面,在製作前先對一半的模板圖檔做翻轉,就可以讓最後的星星外側都保持是正面。</li> </ul> <strong>組合 Tips</strong> <ol> <li>組合可能會有點難,尤其是最後一片模板。如果「CuttingOffset」被設定得太大,組合會變得很緊,進而可能造成最後一片根本組不進去。</li> <li>一邊組合的同時,一邊使用接合速度快的接著劑(例如快乾)把已經組合的部分固定,會讓組合的過程變得容易許多。</li> <li>PC_Holder和PB_Holder這兩個固定扣可能會長得很像,要記得分清楚。</li> <li>大部分的時候,模板可能會長得很像等腰三角形。因此,再開始黏結第一片模板前,最好再三確認它的方向是正確的。</li> </ol> <strong>其他 Tips</strong> <ul> <li>預設的設計在模板的每一個邊都挖了一個固定扣的孔。但是當星星越來越大時,一個固定扣可能不足以固定模板的連結。因此,檔案中也提供了每邊挖兩個孔的f3d檔案(檔名有「2 Slots per Edge」那個)。不過,使用這個設計會使固定扣的數量加倍,也會讓組裝的難度加倍。</li> </ul>
