This is an updated, more accurate Star Trek Discovery hand scanner created for me by Casey J Sullivan. He has given me permission to post on Thingiverse for all to have. The three part scanner allows you to recreate the interior non-activated (white) or activated (light blue) more realistically. The scanner top has a sunken spot to attach a rare earth magnet so that you can replicate how it connects into Tricorder rear cradle. The new scanner fits into the Discovery tricorder rear cradle that has been previously posted on Thingiverse by trekcolencc1701. Note: ***I have just added a spacer plug file that fits into top sunken spot to better replicate original prop. This also makes it easier to paint spacer plug either white (off) or light blue (activated) mode, without ruining the silver/chrome scanner top paint job. ***
