Star Trek Giant Minifigs: Kirk, Spock, McCoy, and Scotty

I am a huge fan of the "Blank Minifig" creation by Skimbal. I then saw the remix of this called "Star Trek Giant Minifig" by Xrayjoe. I took it a little farther and created some more custom parts that allowed me to create the original series characters Kirk, Spock, McCoy, and Scotty. For convenience I have included all the STL files needed from Skimbal and Xrayjoe. I've also included the Sketchup CAD file if anyone wants to further edit. At some point I want to do a phaser and tricorder too (unless someone beats me to it?). :) Instructions Common print files for all four characters: STL file "Star Trek 3D Badge": Print with yellow on the base, then switch colors to black for the perimeter and center star. Print "Young_Adventurer_Eyes_and_Mouth" in black for most characters. Print McCoy eyes in blue. I had to scale this down a bit for it to fit better on my figure (I printed at 85%). Print "star trek collar" in black. Print "Star_Trek_Chest_2" in the various colors for the characters. Print "Snap_Legs" in black Print "Snap_Hips" in black with support. This didn't work so well for me, so I also include this file split into two files ("Snap_Hips_HALF 1" and "Snap_Hips_HALF 2") which I then glued together. Print "Snap_Arms" in the various character colors Print "Arm_Pins_Fixed" in any color (they are hidden in the assembly). Specific Instructions for Spock: Print STL file "spock hair" For Spock's head, you can choose between the full part "Spock Head UNCUT" (will require printing with support, but this didn't work so well for me). So I also include "Spock Head CUT Top" and "Spock Head CUT Bottom" which you print separately and then glue together. Specific Instructions for Kirk/McCoy/Scotty: Print STL file "standard hair", I printed Kirk's hair in brown, then black for McCoy and Scotty. For the head, you can choose between the full part "Young_Adventurer_Head" (will require printing with support, but this didn't work so well for me). So I also include "Young_Adventurer_Head TOP" and "Young_Adventurer_Head BOTTOM" which you print separately and then glue together. Glue and assemble parts. I had to shave some of the parts with an Exacto knife to get them to fit. Then boldly go where no man has gone before!
