Star Trek Romulan Vreedex Class

This is one of my designs that was approved by Paramount for use in a Star Trek video game, so it’s an officially recognized Romulan ship. I designed this ship for Taldren’s “Starfleet Command: Orion Pirates” expansion. It’s an advanced Romulan X-Cruiser just after the original Kirk movie era. I wanted to bridge the original white Bird of Prey with the green Romulan D’deridex warbird seen in the Next Generation, so I combined white and green. If you squint you can see the original BOP silhouette in there, with a bird beak added (similarly done with the Centurion class in Interplay’s Starfleet Command game) This is an extremely low poly model, designed for use in game engines at the turn of this century. I did add a bit of detail with bump mapping, but this is the same mesh that was featured in the game.
