Star Wars Custom Vibroknife

A custom designed vibroknife model inspired by the Star Wars universe. Use for display purposes or as a cosplay accessory! The model can be fully printed in three parts: the grip, the blade guard, and the blade. There are mounting holes for two 8-32 screws of each side of the blade guard if you wish. If not, there is also a variant with no holes. Simply use your favorite adhesive to keep it all together. When I originally made this model, I used a non-3D printed version of the grip (The images attached feature that grip). If you wish to go that extra step, here is the real world part used: https://www.mcmaster.com/9692K37-9692K15/ The real grip is made of a semi-flexible vinyl plastic. In order to keep it rigid, it requires a tang that fills the entire internal volume. In order to do this and keep the blade within a size that will fit on most print beds, I created a separate tang extension piece. If you wish to use the real grip, print the blade and tang files meant for that part. The two pieces can attach together using adhesive or 8-32 set screws if you wish to use a mechanical method. NOTES: 1. This model was designed with TIGHT tolerances. Light sanding will more than likely be necessary to allow parts to fit together. 2. Any screw hole is not ready to accept threads. They will need to be tapped. Any screw hole is designed for 8-32 size screws. DISCLAIMER: This is not meant to be a real weapon!
